Digital 20/20's business-focused work, under the heading ‘ICT for competitive business’, aims to drive business adoption and strategic use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The goal is to increase market opportunity and productivity and to develop a next generation workforce for which the essentials of flexibility, responsiveness and smart operations will be enabled though digital capabilities.
Digital 20/20's work in the business arena is driven by an ICT Business Group, made up of representatives from industry, employers, business support agencies and public sector partners.
It is also informed by input from the IT Leaders Group, a forum of corporate sector CIOs, predominantly from Financial Services and Retail, who have come together to help drive the growth of a strong IT sector in the region.
