Geek Girls Allowed - June
24 June 2010

GISTLab
Grinders Hill

This is a “bring your lunch and share stuff” session. Cassie Limb will be there to work with anyone who would like to create a design to be printed on vinyl. Some people have already worked on a “Ones and Zeros” design – we’ll make sure there’s paper and coloured pens if you feel like getting creative.
Helen Harrop (@iamhelenharrop and @iamcreative) will be telling us a bit more about STEM and it would be great to hear from anyone else who would like to “show and tell” – what are you working on? Picking up on our previous lunch, we’d also like to run a quick brainstorm to get us thinking about projects we could work on.
The Geek Girls Allowed list has nearly 50 names on it, but I’m sure that must be more of us out there. Please spread the word to friends, colleagues, students.
Big thanks to GISTLab for letting us use their facilities. Please bring a drink as well as food; a kettle is available for use.
GISTLab is on Grinders Hill, which is a pedestrian alleyway that runs between Shoreham Street and Paternoster Row, between the Workstation and the Site Gallery.
