Work is well underway on South Yorkshire’s Digital Region, which will bring world-class Next Generation Broadband to our doorsteps. Digital Region (www.digitalregion.co.uk) will cover 1.3 million people, 540,000 homes and 40,000 businesses.
Now is the time to explore the opportunities that this technology will open up for businesses, organisations, educational institutions and individuals.
- What do we mean by Next Generation Access?
- What will NextGen Access and Digital Region allow us to do?
- How can we use it to improve delivery of existing services?
- What types of new products and services should we be looking to develop?
Join us for an afternoon of knowledge-sharing, debate and collaboration – your input will help drive the direction of this major initiative and inform the broader industry debate on the technologies, architecture and industry.
For further information, please contact info@digital2020.org.uk or call the Digital 20/20 team on 0845 111 4122.
This is the fifth in a series of regional events co-hosted by DCKTN. The output from these events will be used to inform service providers, government and regulators about the services and packages that could be developed as high-speed access becomes generally available.
