EU e-Skills Week from 1st to 5th March
European e-Skills week, which highlights the growing demand for skilled ICT users and professionals to drive a competitive and innovative Europe, takes place from 1st to 5th March. The week includes a conference on 1st March geared to professional skills and an event on 4th March looking at community needs and digital inclusion.
European e-Skills Week is a campaign designed to highlight the growing demand for skilled ICT users and professionals to drive a competitive and innovative Europe. The campaign seeks to inform students, young professionals, industry and policy makers about the vast range of opportunities that ICT-related jobs present. The week is an initiative of the EC-DG ENTR, being co-ordinated by DIGITALEUROPE and European Schoolnet in conjunction with 20 national partners.
The conference on 1st March is hosted by BIS and will bring together industry, academics, policy makers and education specialists. Attendance is free of charge and there will also be the opportunity to take stand space during the conference. Click here for more details.
