Yorkshire and Humber is fortunate to have a wide range of specialist industrial centres and sector development organisations. These include:

Centres of Industrial Collaboration (CICs) established by Yorkshire Forward to promote innovation in key industrial sectors, bridging the gap between academic research and implementation in the workplace. See the full list below.

Sector Bodies with a remit to develop and grow key business sectors through marketing, collaboration, shared resources, events, exhibitions, seminars, workshops and targeted business support. See the full list below.

Digital 20/20 is developing relationships with both CICs and Sector Development organisations in the region to explore collaboration on the education and training aspects of their work. This includes organising visits to Centres for colleagues from the education and training sector, meeting to discuss key education and training issues in particular sectors, and highlighting successes and good practice identified by the CICs and sector organisations
