The next meeting of the Education & Training Providers Group will take place from 10:30am - 1pm on Monday 22nd February, at Leeds City College's Park Lane Campus (Room C5.12). If you would like to join us then please email Helen Harrop to book your place.

Our main agenda item is from Julie Best and Don Parker, who will introduce the College’s new Foundation Degree in Advanced Professional Technologies. There is no charge for the event and there will be the opportunity to network over some lunch at the end.

This two year course is designed to appeal to people who are employed in technology roles who are looking for professional development within the Digital Industries. It is unique in its concept of providing a fully personalised learning and development approach, using a participatory model. The idea is that the student group will form a “micro-community of learning” across the broad digital sector disciplines. The model is being established as an industry-recognised, internationally relevant training framework for organising courses and qualifications by discipline across the IT professions.
