Review of graduate placement scheme options to retain top talent in the region

Digital 20/20 Theme:
Future Workforce: Attract and Retain Talent

A highly skilled and "job-savvy" workforce is key to economic growth for Yorkshire and Humber, so one of Digital 20/20's remits is to look at how to assist partners in retaining top talent in the region. All too often, good graduates head south, perhaps unaware of the opportunities that exist on their doorstep.

The Digital 20/20 management team is therefore undertaking a review of what Computing and Internative Media graduate placement schemes already exist in the region and any new initiatives that are about to be put in place.

The aim is to identify best practice and to assess where Digital 20/20 could add value, working with Yorkshire Forward, Graduates Yorkshire, the Sector Skills Councils, HEFCE and the region's Universities.
